Mihai MANOLACHE, PhD
Chairman

Mihai has more than 15 years expertise in International Clinical Research for Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices and Biotechnology Companies. Mihai holds a PhD in Pharmacy from “Carol Davila” University of Medicine & Pharmacy Bucharest, Romania. He also holds a master’s degree in Biostatics from University of Bucharest. Mihai carried out two post-graduate courses in Immunology and Genetics from Harvard Medical School (USA).

Mihai Manolache is the founder of CEBIS International. Prior to the establishment of CEBIS, Mihai had been actively involved in the establishment of Clinical Operations in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, in addition to business development operations for a CRO based in the United States.

Mihai leads CEBIS’ Board of Directors as Chairman. He provides strategic leadership to the board of directors and for the company by working with them to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. He is also responsible for leading the Board and focusing it on strategic matters, overseeing the Group’s business and setting high governance standards. He plays a pivotal role in fostering the effectiveness of the Board and individual Directors, both inside and outside the board room

Tausif Monif Ph.D
Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Tausif has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and holds a Ph.D. degree from Birla Institute of Technology in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Senior executive with extensive experience providing strategic advice in clinical research leadership roles, who is dynamic, analytical, and collaborative. Having led large clinical and biopharmaceutical teams globally, Dr. Tausif has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

As part of his responsibilities, he advised and contributed to key strategic business decisions, supported the development of key innovative products, and provided clinical and biopharmaceutical support for multiple ANDA/NDA, 505(b)2 and FTF filings.

Extensive experience leading full-service CROs worldwide, Dr. Tausif is known for driving innovation and providing comprehensive clinical research solutions to the CRO and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for generating new business prospects across India, North America, Southeast Asia, and Europe.

Throughout his career, he has been responsible for managing large budgets, monitoring financial performance, M&A, strategic business planning, and effectively managing capex budgets and revenue expenses both onshore and offshore. His work experience includes expanding functional operations in North America, Europe, and India.

As a leader and communicator, Dr Tausif possesses excellent negotiation, liaison, and communication skills. In fast-paced, target-driven environments, he has established positive relationships with clients, colleagues, senior corporate leadership, and other professionals.
His efforts to improve efficiency by strengthening and developing internal systems have been well recognized.

In this role Dr. Tausif provides strategic leadership to the team and works towards building efficiencies and overall success of the organization.

Dr. Nawab F. Baloch
Chief Operating Officer

A veteran clinical trial leader, founder & CEO of Clinical Trial Network LLC Dr Nawab oversees a large team of clinical experts working across several states in North America with access to over 300 research sites. In his capacity as a clinical researcher, he has participated in the conduct of multiple trials involving a variety of therapy areas, focusing primarily on oncology and the central nervous system.

On the core level, Nawab F. Baloch is a firm believer in the current digital age usage of new technology tools and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

As part of his quest to gain a greater understanding of modern business practices, Nawab F. Baloch has completed programs in minority business development at Harvard School of Business and TUCK School of Business as well as Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business programs.

Additionally, Dr. Baloch has participated in many community seminars to spread the word about clinical research and healthy living to the community.
With a focus on CEBIS’ North American operations, Dr. Nawab manages effective operational functions of the organization.

Andreea Manolache, MS
President Corporate Governance

Andreea has more than 15 years of clinical research and pharmaceutical industry experience. She possesses two Master’s degrees, one in Biostatistics from the University of Bucharest’s “Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences” and the second in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies. She has a Psychology License from “Titu Maiorescu” University in Bucharest, Romania.

Andreea Manolache is the co-founder of CEBIS International. She was responsible for the company’s operations in Europe for the past 15 years, and also advocating the company’s culture, ethics, and compliance in this diverse operational field. Her principal responsibilities included overseeing the company’s daily operations and managing the leadership team, which included Clinical Operations, Patients Support Programs, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Business Development. She leads employees to maximize performance and commitment, and she evaluates the company’s performance.

As President Corporate Governance, she is responsible for supporting the Board of Directors in providing guidance and advice on governance, ethical conduct, and compliance issues concerning the Corporation.

Mr. Salman Pathan
President Global Supply Chain

A successful entrepreneur, investor, and founder of several companies, Salman Pathan has been in the pharmaceutical supply chain business for many years. In his role, he aims to continue expanding the organization’s global footprint.

In the field of life sciences and pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, Salman has more than 25 years of experience. The founder and CEO of Globyz Biopharma Services, he is a well-known leader in his field. Besides clinical supply and specialty medication sourcing and distribution, he also specializes in pharmaceutical licensing and strategic partnerships.

With investments and strong operational bandwidth in Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia, Mr. Salman’s team is strong in comparator sourcing, clinical packaging, and drug storage, including controlled substances.

As Mr. Salman’s role entails global clinical trial supply management for CEBIS, he is responsible for the expansion of this deliverable at strategic locations around the globe.

Ms. Uma Janapareddy
President –Technologies & Innovation

A recognized expert in her field, Uma has been involved in the design, development, deployment and support of clinical research software and services.

As the Founder and MD of SyMetric, Uma is a well acclaimed leader within the Clinical Trials industry. As a result of Uma’s efforts, strong partnerships have been established with pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations. Over the course of her career, she has successfully implemented solutions for global pharmaceutical companies in the U.S., Europe, India, and Latin America. Microsoft and SAP are also among the technology companies with which she collaborates closely.

Among her leadership positions at Ladies Circle India (LCI), she served as the National President. During her tenure as a community service supervisor, Uma oversaw and implemented a number of projects in India.

As a professional with extensive experience managing international relationships, she is adept at managing both social and business relationships.

Uma founded Svetcha – meaning freedom – after working for LCI for nearly 12 years. Under its umbrella, she focuses on programs or assistance that empower women and girls.

As part of Uma’s responsibilities, she provides innovative IT solutions to help CEBIS manage its global trials efficiently.

Mr. Dopesh Raja Mulakala
President India Operations

Dopesh Raja Mulakala is a second-generation entrepreneur with extensive experience in health care and nutrition. Having worked in the clinical research industry from the ground up, he has gained extensive experience in this field.

In addition to preclinical and early phase work, he is focused on expanding CEBIS’ Indian operation, growing late-phase business, and contributing to the development of evidence-based medicine.

As the founder and MD of the Clinical and Preclinical facility in Ahmedabad and Chennai in India, Dopesh helped meet the industry’s preclinical and clinical research requirements. It has supported preclinical research for pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, medical devices, and agrochemicals throughout the world.

Having graduated from Case Western Reserve University, USA and Erasmus University, Netherlands, Dopesh is well versed in strategic planning, operations management, and mergers and acquisitions. He is widely travelled and has a penchant for international business relations.

In his new role, Dopesh is responsible for leading CEBIS’ Indian operations.
